Global Bond Yields Continue to Fall while the Hong Kong Exchange Sees Falling Volume

Peter sits down on RTHK Radio 3’s Money Talk Program to discuss global and Asian market developments with host Peter Lewis and fellow guest Enzio von Pfeil of Private Capital.

The UK’s bond buying program first hit a snag in buying enough bonds, and led the charge in a downward spiral in global government bond yields, including bonds for Ireland, Spain, and even China, with many finding record lows.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s Exchanges and Clearing saw first half profits drop 27%, as volumes slide.
